Sidewinder ::::
- This product is ideal for a low clearance application. When a pipe that is to be insulated is situated close to another pipe, a building wall or the ground, the Sidewinder is slipped in between, folded around the pipe and with the permanently attached straps placed approximately every foot, it is easily fastened into place.
- Constructed with R-12 insulation.
- The new and improved answer to insulating oilfield surface piping, water and sewer lines underneath manufactured homes (mobile homes), fuel gas lines, etc.
- Ideal for insulating hose that is laying right on the ground.
- Completely compatible with electrical heat tape or Insulation Snakes® Patented Sweet Heat System®.
- When used instead of spiral wrap snakes, the Sidewinder will save significantly on labour costs due to ease of installation and removal.
- Sizes are as follows:
- 12" sidewinder fits max. 1" pipe size or 1 1/2" maximum outside diameter
- 18" sidewinder fits max. 2 1/2" pipe size or 3" maximum outside diameter
- 24" sidewinder fits max. 4" pipe size or 4 1/2" maximum outside diameter
- 36" sidewinder fits max. 6" pipe size or 6 3/4" maximum outside diameter
- 48" sidewinder fits max. 8" pipe size or 9" maximum outside diameter
- 60" sidewinder fits max. 12" pipe size or 13" maximum outside diameter
- 72" sidewinder fits max. 18" pipe size or 18" maximum outside diameter
- 84" sidewinder fits max. 20" pipe size or 20" maximum outside diameter
- 96" sidewinder fits max. 24" pipe size or 24" maximum outside diameter
