  • Designed for the larger spots on a pipeline, e.g. flange and hammer union connections, or in-line ball valves etc.
  • Constructed with R-12 insulation.
  • Ideal for insulating ball valves, the Snake Bite is folded back to exact diameter of the ball valve.
    The handle protrudes outside the insulation for quick and easy valve adjustment.
  • Factory installed straps allow quick and easy installation and removal.

  • Standard sizes:
    • 12 in width x 3 ft length fits 7" maximum outside diameter
    • 18 in width x 4 ft length fits 9" maximum outside diameter
    • 24 in width x 5 ft length fits 12 1/2" maximum outside diameter
    • 36 in width x 6 ft length fits 15 1/2" maximum outside diameter
    • 48 in width x 7 ft length fits 18 1/2" maximum outside diameter
    • 60 in width x 7 ft length fits 23" maximum outside diameter
    • 72 in width x 8 ft length fits 28" maximum outside diameter
    • 84 in width x 7 ft length fits 33 1/2" maximum outside diameter
    • 96 in width x 8 ft length fits 39" maximum outside diameter

      *All above maximum outside diameters are "rule of thumb" only and allow for extra insulation to be overlapped or folded back on ball valves.
